Snook

Snook are a revered inshore gamefish known for their aggressive, hard "thumping" strikes, and table fare. They can be found along the beaches and inland waterways of south Florida and the Caribbean. They commonly feed on pinfish, mullet, and shrimp. Their long face is due to their massive mouths, which they quickly open to inhale their prey with a vacuum like suction force. Snook and pinfish are wood cuts painted with acrylic and sealed in resin. Background is a wood cut painted and sealed with various paints, mica powders, and resin. Comes framed in custom milled, painted wood frame.
